    The battery heating up so quickly sounds like a dead short. If the MOD works with an Atomizer attached and does not heat the battery I would say you have a faulty meter.

    How to "grade" your juice?

    When I order my VG, I make sure it is listed as "Kosher" or "USP"...preferably both. That is the only "Grade" I keep my eye on. Edit: Sorry. Thought you were asking about DIY.
