Welcome. You started in the same place I did as far as youe equipment goes. Read. Learn. Don't be scared. You will soon see analogs as dirty, stinky, nasty tasting moneywasters.
I just ordered some from them. I loved the Ripe Banana and hope I like this one too. I had a Columbian friend lived down the street from me growing up, his momma would make Horchata from scratch. I am needing some new flavors, and this might be one of them.
I still love CinnaGEEK from Vapegeek. It is where I started when I gave up analogs. She will make up to 36mg/ml of nic if you want. The cinnamon gives a good throat hit, and a nice aftertaste.
I took 4 days to read this little thread and have not seen anyone post as high a percentage of Ripe Banana as I like to use. I use a 50/50 PG/VG premix at 24 mg/ml, Ripe Banana, and a sweetener in PG I buy from my local shop(don't know what sweetener, sorry). I mix 25% Ripe Banana to 75% nic mix...
They are a little high on prices (29.99 for a ProTank?!?!) but most of the flavors are mixed in the back so they are fresh. Have you heard of the "other" vape shop in town? Vapegeek dot com. Much better prices and service IMHO.
I am happy with both my mods. One is a K101 with a Protank 2 and my favorite CinnaGEEK juice, and the other is a Innokin SVD. Both take 18350's for short stealth mode and both can also handle the 18650 for all day vaping. Both are very easy to work on/with and keep clean and properly...
I love mine, I just wish I would have gotten the full kit so I could have the long battery cover. I have been able to vape a flavor of juice I had given up on. It is a good looking piece of equipment.
My chip fits my K101 with a 18650(I always use my chip, even with protected batteries). As far as the Trustfire's, do not buy them if you have not already gotten them. I got one AW18650 as a package with the K101 and a charger. I soon found I needed more than one battery in a day so I got 2...
I use 1.5ohm coils on my Protank's, one on a iTaste SVD and the other on my K101. My local shop stocks 1.5ohm and up. I have learned how to clean and care for them so they last. Gives a better vape on the K101 than any other ohm coil.
I still like the juice I started on very much, but it is no longer my prefered vape. Tho there is some comfort in the original juice to me also, giving some credit your wondering about a mental attachment.
I have bought something I like more now(VV/VW), but I will continue to use my K101. I keep my "sweet" juice on it as the juice, with a 18650, works perfectly as is. Of course I use a protection chip in the K101, it came with it at the place I purchased mine.
I have a K101 and love it. Very simple do use, and no electronics to fail. I use a Panasonic NCR18650B with a protection chip on top when I can, otherwise I use a AW 18350 when I need it to be small. Produces plenty of vapor with my ProTank. That being said I just got a iTaste SVD yesterday and...
At 5 weeks of vaping I switched from a eGo 100mah and T3 to a ProTank/K101 MOD combo. I am looking forward to tomorrow when I get a ProTank2 and a iTaste. I love my K101 but am looking forward to some adjustability.
I put my used coils (about every 4 days) in some Crest Pro Health mouthwash. I prefer the purple kind. I leave them in there for a day. Take them out and wash them in water and let them dry. Good as new for me. I use a ProTank and ProTank Mini. 1.5ohm coils.
Thank you to everyone that has answered this. I am picking up the same mod with the same batteries tomorrow. I look forward to some adjustability over my K101. I just use 1.5ohm coils so I am much relieved.
