Actually, i'll have to try tying it down leaving it on the drill bit / needle or whatever... ive always put it on without it, and i usually put the wick in before tying it down too - putting the wick in once its on the platform sounds like a good plan :) Hey terry, good to see you back mate :) -

I have 15ml of the CLS left, so i'll try it in another carto soon and see how it goes. Hopefully, it was just a bad carto, but if not then i'll give the slotted cartos a try as they seem to get a bit more juice into them.
