Convince me to buy a Provari
How long had your wife owned the V2 before the threads started going on it? I dont know if you can buy the top caps with the thread in, but might be worth sending it to provape to have it replaced - I dont know how much that costs (I'm sure someone on here will know) but it might be worth it... -
Provari Owners, What do you drive?
Snap (nearly - mine's a 2007) Its a 2.2 diesel as diesel / petrol here is about £6 / $10 a gallon & i just cant afford to run a petrol. I had a gutless 1.6 petrol before the honda which did about 35mpg. The honda has loads more power and does 55mpg. -

Where do you guys buy your cartos from? :(
I like the option to fill from the bottom on that rapid tank... I've only seen that on the Salt n Pepa for carto tanks. As for the wee boaby... go on, treat yourself ;) -

Vivi novas do a decent job :) beware though, as they can leak too! When you put a new head on your protank 2 if you keep it topped up and never let it drop below about a 3rd full it shouldnt leak... My protank 2s leaked a bit, but i read that it can be a problem if you let them get low on... -

I'd be happy with either... i know the provari is great and from what i have heard the semovar is of similar quality. The semovar is modular, but i am more than happy with the 490/650 option.. i dont need or particularly want the 350 option as i have it with my mini and get annoyed with how... -

Cheers terry... that's very nice of you, but it would be me just being lazy!! I've got to learn to do it properly myself... i can make the coils reasonably well and i have managed to get it on the kayfun and the aga properly, but i cant do it often enough to make it worth my while using it... -

I just did a bit of research on the kick and seems like i would need to use an 18350 batt in the ba gua to fit the kick in, and 350s tend to last me about an hour so I dont think i'll bother getting one! What I'm going to do is just be extra careful with the ba gua and keep taking the battery... -

The original protank used to annoy me with leaks and gurgling too often, but i like the protank 2 (havent tried a 3 yet). The problem i find with clearos/protanks, etc is that they mute the flavour compared to carto tanks and and RBAs like the kayfun. I have a kayfun lite and an aga, but I'm not... -
