    hei fright my friend ;) With double stripping res. wire we are making a stronger coil..for this method (with wick over the res.) we should have a strong coil especially if we want to smoke at higher volts..also we have a little more contact between the wire and the coil. I tried to plug only one...

    So...After 10 days of heavy use (10ml per day), this is the best method by now for me... Double res. wire and wick over the coil and not inside it...1.3Ω at 4V..Still vaping like a train, without leaks or burning taste !! :vapor:

    When I take my GGTS/iatty (with 18650) with me, the people are looking to me with curiosity... Consider to use this blue thing!! I think they will call the Police !!! :) :) :) :lol:

    I think that when the ss wick has been oxidized, then it cant make shorts with the coil..Try to test with a multimeter :)

    Try not to round very hard the res. wire around the wick...Also after you put the cone over the iatty, try to "unscrew" the wick outside the cone so it looks like many small wicks together... You will have a better liquid supply inside the resistance

    The last days I am trying to figure, what is the best method/material of using the iatty .. Fat wick,silica wick,Ssmesh...Wick inside the resistance, wick over the resistance... Burn wick before use etc etc.... I think I am lost in the threads ...:facepalm: I thought that would be useful for...

    smaller lenght of wire --> lower ohm of resistance :)

    This is true Painfreak...for 1.5 Ohm I think is 2cm for the resistance wire (not the whole lenght.just the clear resistance part)... The no resistance wire (x2) is about 10cm because you will need "space" to make the hole system :)
