    It depends on the flavoring. Here's a decent article on why it may occur. Besides ketones and citric acid being likely culprits, cinnamon is probably derived from cinnamon essential oil, and essential oils are typically volatile.

    Do you mind saying which brand that is? I get the pepper flavor from a lot of brands at first but usually it goes away. Unfortunately in my Alice in Vapeland liquids all I can taste is pepper and powder. :(
