I wrapped a microcoil earlier tonight around a 1/16" drill bit; 11 wraps of 28ga Kanthal ended up at around 1.6 ohms. Seven or eight wraps usually gets me in the ballpark of 1 ohm...

    I'm still using the same 1/16" ID, 1.9Ω vertical MC on my AGA-T2 and it's vaping like a champ with a short cotton wick. I've been vaping 100% VG in it so every two or three tanks I dry burn the coil and replace the cotton, but other than that it's been maintenance free.

    It looks like your negative lead is connected to the raised post with the hole in the side. Have you tried building a coil and using one of the screws in the deck to ground it? Maybe the raised negative post isn't grounded properly.

    I would think with that many coils you would really need to be religious about keeping everything saturated with eliquid. With a single coil you can easily tell when you need to add more juice before the cotton burns, but if you have four coils and three of them are saturated while one isn't you...

I know you aren't worried about the hydrogen peroxide, but I did end up boiling mine before use and there was a ring of white residue left on the inside of my pot.
