You could always buy unpunched cartomizers and punch them yourself. Then you can put the holes exactly where you want them.

Vape quality on RDAs is only as good as the coil and wick that you build. Can you post pictures of your build? That would help.
Also try playing with the location of the air hole in relation to the coil; the position of that hole changes the vape experience dramatically.
I know it's easy to get wrapped up in the chat about Provari's, mechanical mods, rebuildables, etc., but it's definitely possible to get a quality vape that will end your desire for cigarettes without breaking the bank.
I look at it like the game of golf. Will spending thousands of dollars on...

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot that there was some adult language in the video. You can find it on PBusardo's YouTube Channel.
Are you actually getting liquid on your lips, or can you simply taste the flavor on your lips?
If you are noticing a residual flavor when you lick your lips that's normal with some juices. As you exhale the flavor sticks around a bit. I notice that a lot with dessert vapes and actually enjoy...
Mine does the same thing, I'm not worried about it. The PCB in mine is mounted at a slight angle inside the tube so the button on the left and the left side of the screen are raised up a bit higher than the right side. It's only noticeable once you know that it's there.

I started a couple of years ago with a couple of shorty 808 batteries and a crapload of cartomizers that came prefilled with a Chinese-made eliquid. I honestly don't remember the flavors, they were all bad. Within two days I was back on the analogs.
This past winter I learned about carto tanks...
Pick up a Kanger EVOD and some replaceable heads. The heads are cheap, and you can even rebuild them yourself if you are so inclined.
If you aren't vaping an eliquid that is a known plastic tank killer the EVODs can't be beat.
I prefer the heads with the longer posts as well. It just seems like a smoother vape to me for some reason.
That and I like that the longer knurled post makes them a little easier to work with.
I would recommend not posting an advertisement for your new video on every forum thread you can find.
Other than that, let the vape gods show you the way.
Try sliding the cartomizer down about halfway into the tank like you would to refill it. Put a drip tip on top of the tank and hold it there tight, then try pouring the eliquid out of the tank through the drip tip. That was the easiest way I found to empty them when I was using carto tanks.
