I have two replacement heads in use now, one 1.8 ohm and one 2.2 ohm. They both are reading about 0.2 ohms higher than the resistance printed on the heads.
My guess is that the heads don't have the exact resistance they are advertised to have, because I tested both of them with my iTaste VV V3...
Same here, I have some Kanthal wire and some silica wick on the way. Apparently the EVODs and the Protanks vape better with rebuilt coils than the stock ones, so I'm curious to see if I can tell the difference.
Definitely try to dry burn the coil.
Remove the base from the EVOD, rinse it well under hot water, then dry it. Pull the silicone cap and the post off so you can access the wicks and remove the loose flavor wicks on top so all that is left is the main wick inside the coil. Attach the head to...
I think you're right. I have one white box and one black. The white box was ordered with my first EVOD and the heads in that box have the longer stem; The black box was just ordered a couple of weeks ago when I bought a Protank, and those heads have the smaller posts.
Today was two weeks for the head in my EVOD. I have a Protank going as well so I'm not exclusively vaping the EVOD, but it seems to still be working fine.
Dimitris just posted this video yesterday, I thought it was really helpful. If anyone is looking for more info on cleaning the EVOD/Protank heads this might be worth a watch: The Kanger Mini Protank, Protank II and Cleaning Replacement Heads - YouTube
I have the iTaste VV V3 as well. I like it a lot, but you should know that it doesn't work as a true passthrough; even when plugged in to a power source it still draws it power from the battery when you vape it.
For the price, though, you can't really beat it. VV, VW, resistance checker, small...
V3 has a totally different screen and firmware. Personally I think the screen quality and the ease of operation is better than the V2.
V3 also has a different design, it's not perfectly smooth; it has some ridges in the body to increase grip. Also, it has eGo threading which allows you to use...
Yes, even with thinner eliquids you're going to need to tilt when the juice level gets low. If you purchase a bottom coil clearo like the EVOD or Protank gravity will do that work for you.
The bottom coil clearos will result in a cooler vape because the coil is much farther away from your mouth...
The only suggestion I have is to try a bottom coil clearomizer instead of a top coil. Then you won't have to twirl your mod around to make sure the wicks are wet before you vape it.
I ordered a few bottles from MBV about a month ago and they aren't bad. The best one that I ordered by far is Bananas Gone Nuts. It tastes exactly like the banana nut bread my mother used to bake after putting a little bit of margarine on it. Really nice, even without any extra flavor shots.
I...
Don't attempt to find Boba's or any other AVE juice elsewhere; most likely you will end up purchasing something from someone who is trying to recreate the flavor of Boba's Bounty without much success.
I believe they open their store every morning and stay open until they receive too many orders...
Yup. It basically turns a mechanical mod into a variable wattage device. I believe it also provides some battery protections if I'm not mistaken; the Kick 2 just came out recently.
E-cigs don't produce any smoke, it is vapor. You also aren't burning anything with e-cigs unlike cigarettes and hookahs, you're vaporizing a liquid that contains nicotine.
Vaping (using e-cigs) has to be much safer than anything which requires a plant material to be burned and carried into your...
