What I did was take a long enough piece of cotton so that I could feed it down into the tank and I rolled it tight enough to fit through the coil. I then used a small screwdriver head to push the longer end of the wick into the tank. I just tried cotton and a microcoil on my AGA-T2 today for the...
I remember seeing PBusardo's review of the Russian and he had a problem with filling through the fill hole using the needle tip bottle that came with it. He ended up using a bottle with a plastic tip like this and was able to fill it with no leakage at all:
I don't know if that is the needle...
I'm using an AGA-T2, not an RSST, but I noticed the same. Some of the juices I enjoy the most just didn't didn't have the same full flavor with a SS wick.
I replaced it with cotton and the flavor now rivals my drippers.
So I decided to rip out the coil and stainless steel mesh wick from my AGA-T2 today. I appreciate that a SS mesh wick lasts a long time once you get everything working properly, but setting it up was just more of an effort than I wanted to make. I also wanted to increase the resistance of the...
What I did was after my second 15 minute boil I laid out a double layer of paper towels on my kitchen counter and placed the cotton one by one onto the paper so they were spread out evenly with a little bit of space between them. Once that was done I grabbed another double layer of paper towels...
I boiled mine a couple of times because even though they are organic they were whitened with hydrogen peroxide, but no need to if that doesn't bother you. I figured it was easy enough to do so I boiled the whole bag, now I have about a year's worth of cotton ready to go.
You shouldn't need to boil sterilized cotton. It's made for bandaging open wounds so doesn't have any contaminants in it by design.
Oh, and you can get it at Walgreens or CVS, this is what the CVS package looks like: http://www.cvs.com/shop/product-detail/CVS-Rolled-Cotton?skuId=955492
As the eliquid is vaporized some residue will end of being caramelized on the coil. This happens even more with darker, sweeter liquids. Eventually it will start to spread through the fresh eliquid, don't be alarmed by it.
What I do is take the EVOD apart and run the base and replaceable head...
Thumbs up.
No one has any idea what the long term effects of vaping are at this point. No one can know until they are used for decades. To say that e-cigs are completely safe is a bit irresponsible. That said, does the legitimate science so far say that e-cigs are orders of magnitude safer...
Just my :2c:.
I doubt Big Tobacco wants it banned, they probably just want it regulated as severely as possible so that they are the only companies who can afford to comply with those regulations, thereby owning the market with their junk products that will turn people off to vaping and force...
Yeah, I haven't figured that part out yet. It actually looks to be about the same external diameter as a 1/16" inch drill bit that I use to wrap my coils, so I think if I wet the end and twist it up tight I should be able to thread it through.
LOL. I was forced to tag along on a Wal-Mart excursion last week and remembered Grimm using it in his video, so when I saw how cheap it was I figured what the hell.
If it sucks it will take 60 seconds to yank it out of there and replace it with the good stuff.

I picked up some last week but haven't done anything with it yet other than boiling a handful a couple of times. If I remember correctly it was $1.49 for 120 yards of it. I'm planning to try it out in my AGA-T2 soon.
Thanks for that. I've been messing with an AGA-T2 lately and SS mesh is just a pain in the :censored:. I'm in the process of cleaning all of the parts but once I rebuild it later tonight or tomorrow morning I'm definitely going to try a microcoil with cotton in it.
I actually rewicked an EVOD/ProTank head with cotton last week and it's vaping perfectly. I wasn't sure how long it would last but I've been vaping 100% VG in it on and off since then and it still tastes great. Give cotton a try in your ProTank, you might enjoy it.
I was able to locate this vendor in Bangor: Maine Tobacco Shop & Vaping Supplies
Not exactly down the street from Portland but it looks like there aren't many options close to you. Not the greatest prices either based on the photos they have posted, but it might be worth a trip to see what they...
