    The Vamo is pretty good, and in 18350 mode it's not all that big, I carry it about once in a while with an Evod on top and have yet to have anyone question it even in a smallish southern town, maybe cause there's a vape shop in town and people are used to it? Never seen anyone else around here...

    In all seriousness, I cut out my caffeine and alcohol intakes and put the money I'd spend on Guinness and coffee/energy drinks towards vaping. I still tap into my earnings for big stuff, but it pays for my DIY supplies and basic hardware like tanks and clearos quite nicely.

    The Vamo will tell you when the batteries need recharging, usually right around 3.2-3.3v, no worries about over-discharge as it won't fire them below that point.

    Yeah, that's a sign of too much nicotine going into your blood stream, sometimes I forget to switch tanks and chain-vape 24mg myself, does the exact same thing. Drink some water, put down the Vamo for half an hour, and pick it back up with some lower nic juice, works just fine.

    Also one more bit of advice, exhale some/all the vapor through your nose if you don't already, I find even with vaper's tongue I can still get a 'taste' of the liquid I'm using by getting it into my nose and smelling the fresh vapor.

    This is pretty normal, as others have said, water helps, as does lightly scrubbing your tongue with a wet toothbrush on a regular basis. Some say a strong flavor like cinnamon will also shock your taste buds back into action almost like MSG in food, I use a clove vape and get the same effect...

    There are also eGo batteries with 808 threads on them, I believe the trade name is 'vGo' but I've seen other vendors selling them as 808 eGos generically. Might be something to look for if he doesn't mind a thicker device, the smallest of those will outlast even the 'XL' 808 cig-style batteries...

    Interesting, also glad I took notice of this as I have friends living in older apartment complexes where I know the smoke alarms haven't been changed in a long while. Have to remember to take high-PG liquids (low/no vapor) on visits so I'm not setting off the whole building's alarm system...

    Congrats! I'm going on 2 and a half months myself, quit May 22nd of this year for good, though by then I was only smoking maybe one cig per night.
