    Good advice from the above posts. 30 is a good gauge of wire to begin with. With regular builds, I would aim around 1.5 ohms. Try your hand at a regular build and a micro coils.

    I wouldn't worry about the charring. When I dry burn my coils, it kind of turns a little black. When i put juice on the coils though, it usually works fine. The stuff that chars is usually just impurities.

    No more clones

    Just buy a Reo. Think about it: you can buy a bunch of clones with a 50/50 shot or get Reo and never need any vape gear anymore. I have only order batteries and attys once since I got my Reo.

    You need at least 32 gauge or above. I probably would use 34 or 36 for building a 3 ohm or more.

    What makes the provari so special?

    It is a nice vv/vw mod if you are into that sort of thing, but really it does not hold a candle to my Reo. It is just another battery holder, while my Reo is a cloud machine. If you want the best VV/VW, get a Provari. If you want the best vape, get a Reo. I know what I want.

    Since you are all probably sick of me...

    Yeah the price tag kept me away from a Reo for a long time. It is ridiculous that I would drop $150 buying a bunch of clones, but a mod for that price was out of the question. Anyway, you will be happy. All my other lame vape gear is collecting dust.

    I would not recommend the Aero. I order several Cisco spec attys and one HH357, the other Cisco spec attys on avid vaper are pretty good. Not as good as the H357s, but pretty good. My experience with the aero was the only part of that order that I did not like. It was a total piece of junk...

    What is the resistance of your coil? You really should not fire anything under 1.5 ohms on an ego.
