Too thin for what? I use 32 all the time. If the OP is using a regulated mod, the gauges he ordered won't be a problem. Did you read the actual post? He is awaiting a rebuildable dripper and is planning on using cotton for wicks.
The OP is fine with what he ordered. He can experiment and find...
Look I'm not looking to argue. The OP seems to new to vaping and was asking about atomizers he can use to try out dripping, not building his own. As such, rather than clarifying, the posts about RDAs confused him by adding more info than needed. That's great that you can build your own RDAs...
Ignore the above posts. You don't have to use an RDA to drip. When I first got started, I just used Joyetech atomizers. The first few on this site would be great to start off with:
Atomizers
A lot of people like the Cisco Hybrid atomizers on Avid Vaper, but they are around $20 for one.
Most vendors mix the juice when you order it. As a result, most of the time, they need to steep for around 1-2 weeks. You can take the tops off or leave them on. It is more of a matter of giving the juice some time to age.
I was just gonna say, I drip all of the time with my Reo. However, you don't need to run out and buy a new mod.
You have to buy an atomizer. Most big ecig vendors carry 510 atomizers. You hook up the atomizer to your battery and put around 3 drops into it. Then you puff on it until it starts...
Nickel or .999 silver are the most often used. You should get a gauge that is similar to the gauge of the Kanthal you are using.
Oddy clone and Ithaka both require the use of NR. The Kayfun/KFclones do not need NR wire. With the ready wires, the Oddy/Ithaka clones are not difficult to get set up.
I agree. I liked my first REO, so much I bought a second one within a week. I have never gotten the flavor, vapor, or nic hit that I get from my Reo from any other setup, even my KFL.
Well most micro coils are wrapped on something like a drill bit that is around 1/16 inch. I know us Americans are backwards and that is around 1.5-1.6mm. With a micro coil, all of the wraps need to be touching.
When wrapping regular coils, I tend to freehand them around silica. What kind of...
I have been seeing the Nimbus for around $50-$60. They are not too tough to find and are a staple. I have a Reo, so many of the drippers I use are because they come as bottom feeders. The Reomizer is a great atty, even for people who do not use Reos. It has a ceramic base and does not get as hot...
All in man... I would recommend getting more acquainted with safely vaping with a mechanical mod and learning to build your Ithaka, before worrying about getting the logos right. There are a lot of moving parts on the Ithaka. I would hate for you to bust something on your Ithaka before you even...
This happens to me very often. I guess it is because I look cool and because of my age (27). When people ask me and I tell them it is an ecig, I usually get a few things:
1. Why wouldn't you just smoke a cigarette?
2. Dude, but can't you just use (something else) in it? Then they ask me all...
With most RBAs/RDAs, it is a very very good idea to wash them out first. They usually have some kind of gunk on them. I think you misunderstood what kind of dripping atomizer to get. While I think RDAs are great for testing out new flavors, I pretty much only vape stuff with coils that I have...
Supposedly the Arrow is a genesis style atomizer that does not leak. Never tried it, so I cant attest to it. I am not 100% sure of the diameter of the Kayfun Mini, but I would definitely tell you to check it out. The original and the lite are top of the line attys and are the only thing I use...
The Reo Grand or the Reo Mini and a Reomizer is hands down the best setup I have used. Granted, the quality of mechanical mods can be really good to really bad, but seriously nothing comes close to the vapor I get from my Reo and RM2.
The A7 may work for this purpose. the positive and negative posts are the same height, but the coil goes across the middle airhole. I could see using mesh in that dripper.
I mainly use my REO now, however, the Reomizer 2 does have the set up you are going for. It is a great dripper on it's...
The first thing to try is that you need to line up your airholes with your coil. When you suck air in, it should pass through the airhole onto the coil to get vapor.
Secondly, what volt are you setting your device at and what is the resistance of your coil? When you fire the coil, do all the...
I have yet to use a ceramic wick. I will pipe in here though. For genesis style atomizers, they were originally built for SS Mesh. SS mesh is a great wick... When you get it up and working. Unfortunately, it also conducts electricity, so it is a total B---- to set up. It is incredibly flavorful...
