    Why do you have to build a micro coil at 1/16"? Why not build a micro coil that is large enough to fit a strand of silica through?

    I'm surprised no one has brought up the problem may be with where the coils connect to the positive and negative posts. It takes some finagling to get the coil to connect with the posts.

    I never made the jump to cotton. I like silica. It is sturdy/ekowool. I can wrap a silica coil in 5 minutes. No muss, no fuss. As far as taste goes, it holds up to me.

    I do use the Vaping deals n discounts site sometimes. I have noticed that he has some good deals. As far as Gotsmok.com, Yeah they do have Fasttech posts, but they at least regularly have other vendors on there. They had a Nimbus for like $50 last week, unlike Fasttech Joes.

    Idk about titanium, but if you like the Kayfun, you should check out one of the Ithaka clones. They vape pretty similar to the Kayfun. Plus with the Ithaka, you are able to do dual coils.

    I buy my Kanthal from Temco on eBay. They are like an industrial supplier and you can get 25-50 feet for around $5. Plus it always comes spooled, rather than tangled up in a bag. I usually get my silica/Ekowool from lightning vapes on ebay too. Personally, I don't have high hopes for coils...

    Sigelei Zmax V3 & RSST RBA problem

    Considering 28 gauge Kanthal is only 5.27 ohms/foot, I would say it is most likely literally too low of resistance. You would need a full 3 inches of Kanthal from the positive post to the negative post to get a little over 1.3 ohms. Either add wraps or get 30-32 gauge.
