    First order from mtbakervapor

You definitely should let them steep. With that said, MBV juices are pretty lame. Good thing you bought small bottles! I usually do not order from vendors that offer flavor shots. It's cheap and makes me feel like I am getting watered down juice.

So it really doesn't matter if the coils are touching each other when rebuilding coils?

With microcoils, it actually is good that the coils touch each other and helps give it its better vapor. However, if you are building a normal coil, it probably would not work out well if some of the coils were touching.

    Purchasing pre-built coils

Resistance wire gauges kind of go backwards. 32 gauge Kanthal is the gold standard with e cigs. It comfortably gets around 1.5-2.5 ohms, depending on your build. To build coils that will fit inside a pro tank, you may want to try 34 or 36. Those gauges will be thinner and have more resistance...

Is there really a big difference in the quality of vape from low end to high end ?

It depends on what you are vying for. There are some RDAs that have some neat features (Immortalizer - ceramic base, Helios - double positive post, etc...). I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on the real Nimbus since it has been around $60 at a lot of vendors. I think that you kind of...

Resistance readings changing -- what have I done wrong?

So did you check where the coil met the positive and negative post?

    Purchasing pre-built coils

Again dude, the real difficult issue with rebuilding protank heads is not so much the wrapping the coils, but getting the coil back into the Protank and firing it. I bought one of these: Helping Hands Jig With Alligator Clips at Menards However, if you are having difficulties seeing the small...

    Question on my setup

It depends on the resistance of your heads. Either way, you should turn the wattage to what works for you. That is not uncommon for 2 apvs to be different at the same power. It just depends on the circuitry.

    Mechanical help

Checking the resistance can be done with a multimeter, one of those 510 meters from madvapes, or an APV that reads the resistance. You do not have run an RBA on a mechanical to get a good vape. If you want to get into rebuilding, why not start on an APV, so it can tell you the resistance and...

Rebuildable atomizers what are they and how do you do it?

RBAs/RDAs and mechanical mods are just one combination. You don't have to have both to get a good vape. The world of RBAs can be simple to complex. Basically, they require the user to build the electronic parts of them and are a shell for this. This is done through the use of Kanthal wire and...

    Looking Rba/Rda coil info

It really is just as simple as know the length of the resistance wire from the positive post to the negative post. You can then figure it out based on the Ohms/inch of the gauge Kanthal you are using. There is some kind of vapers toolbox on google play, if you have an android device.

    Mechanical help

You definitely don't need an RBA/RDA to use with a mechanical mod. You can buy heads for clearomizers that are 1.5 or 1.8 ohms that should get you a very solid vape from mechanical mods. You need to be aware, however, that mechanical mods lack all of the safety features of your current devices...

Unfortunately, the whole 'automatic' feature of ecig batteries is just wishful thinking.

    new toys and questions

The MVP2 either comes with iclear16s or an iclear30. I prefer the iclear30, but the iclear16 (the 'ce4' looking guys) is not a bad clearo. I enjoy some top coil clearomizers myself and if you havent tried them, you should.

    Where to Steep E-juice?

You should store your vape juice in my dresser!

    Velvet Cloud Vapor

VCV does generally have good customer service. In the summer, I had ordered 2 bottles of Night Shift, but only received one. They sent me a new one with extra bottles of juices. Don't fret with them not responding right away. They just moved and are probably dealing with a bunch of emails and...

They extract their own tobacco flavors in-house and you can buy sample sizes up to 36mg/ml nicotine. It won't taste like a Marlboro, but it will...

Does wire's heat up time depend on amount of material or resistance?

2-3mm or so. The space between coils is often determined by the size of the RDA and the number of coils you are trying to wrap.

    Mvp2 or?

The MVP 2 is a very solid device. I use mine all of the time. It goes well with my Sigelei Zmax. Thus far, I have topped my MVP off with the iSmoka Magoo and a Hercules (Ithaka clone). It handles my own builds just as well as a protank!

Juices that didnt meet the hype? expectation? or did they?

Personally, I didn't like Pluid... at all. I literally took 2 hits and subsequently sold the bottle I bought. That said, licorice/anise flavors make me want to throw up. I figured that with everyone liking it, maybe it would be different. If you like licorice/anise flavors, you will like Pluid...

    First vape - Disgusting.

Steeping will probably help, but there are a few things to remember. Number one would be steeping. The next step is knowing how to take a hit from your e cig. You should hit the e cig much more slowly and softly that an analog, but longer. There are some great tobacco flavors out there...
