    Try vaping closer to 3.7-3.8 volts, generally if you are getting a burned taste, it is an indication your voltage is too high.

    I find giving my heads a rinse after each tank and then dry-burning will make a coil last a month or longer. Eventually the wicks start to fray and fall apart, at that point I will rebuild the head. Here is a good video on how to do this:

    Clean your coils - either vodka or by rinsing and dry burning (my preference). Then go buy some silica wick and kanthal wire and learn to re-build your heads. My wife and I have about 10 heads between us, haven't even touched 5 of them.

    Note this will also depend on the juice. Some juices are better at lower temps (i.e. higher Ohms), some are better with a bit more heat behind them (i.e. lower Ohms). As others have said, try several different attys and see what works for you.
