My Zen-Atty-Pro Genesis style tank gives me a remarkably good vape. Nice and cool, lots of flavor, clouds of vapor. That being said, I've got a little $10 rebuildable dripper that gives it a run for its money and probably wins if I am honest with myself. I love my Genesis tank, but I have...
I think it is a pretty natural progression. My wife and I started on cig-a-likes, then moved to an eGo knockoff (Oops!) then I moved to a Rebuildable Genesis style tank. Wife stayed with the eGos - it is what she likes - although we have fine tuned our tank selection. She is currently very...
Either of these would be a fine choice. Although I'd personally lean to the SVD. For batteries, most of these types of mods take 18650 or 18350 IMR lithium-ion rechargeables.
But if you know Ohm's Law you can calculate the voltage you need to achieve the Wattage you desire. The only difference between a variable voltage PV and an variable wattage PV is that the VW one does the math for you.
To be honest, the biggest plus is being able to put bigass batteries in them. The second biggest plus is when those batteries give up the ghost, they cost half of what it costs to replace an eGo twist. I rebuild my coils, so the built in ohm meter is nice. The variable voltage/wattage is...
My wife goes for an eGo twist in basic black. I've offered to buy her a Provari (or anything else for that matter), but she likes the size and weight of the eGo. The Provari is, in her words, "Too big and heavy - I want to vape, not carry around a Sonic Screwdriver." She is currently sporting...
I'm with the OP. I generally vape around 5.5-6.5 Watts, depending on the juice. Any more than that and things start tasting off - and this is in a Genesis tank with a ceramic wick.
Folks who are going for 15 Watts are probably chasing clouds - lots of power to make lots of juice vaporize...
+1 for this kit. These days I have a Provari with a nice Genny tank, but I still use my eGo and Kanger tanks when I am out and on the go. You can't go wrong with that kit.
No, you don't need to and are probably safer not to. Sub-ohm setups push the limits of batteries and if things go wrong, can push them past their safe limits. Without the proper knowledge, it can be dangerous. People who do sub-ohm setups properly have good knowledge of their batteries, their...
Try mouth hits. Just take the vapor into your mouth, hold it a bit and then exhale through the nose. I was a pipe smoker many years ago and then started smoking cigarettes because they were more convenient. When I first started vaping, I inhaled like I did cigarettes, but have found I've...
I use a Genesis style tank at home as well, such a good vape.
Do be careful with sub-ohm setups, a Genny will give you just as great of a vape at 2.4ohms, which is much safer. If you are after big clouds, just drill out your air hole a bit.
I've been told that my cake and bakery flavors have a pleasant aroma. People also tell me my tea and citrus flavors are very pleasant, but very subtle. I've never had anyone complain about any of my juices, although I'm sure there are some out there that might be unpleasant.
Some folks recommend a rinse after a dry burn, it couldn't hurt. I've found that if you really dry-burn to the point no more smoke/vapor is rising from the coils, there isn't any leftover taste. Although, if a wick is being finicky, I'll rebuild and move on.
