I personally like the airy draw - but my favorite tank is a Zen-Atty-Pro, which many say is also too airy. Different strokes.
I think it is generally considered that a carto tank is superior to any clearomizer tank. I like the mini stuck on an eGo for when I am out and about.
No complaints here about the mini Davide, well built, good tolerances, fit and finish are very nice, same with its big brother. As I said above, a friend got the Protank the same day - we did a side by side comparison; both are very nice tanks.
I like whatever works for me. I think most people understand that what works for them, may not work for another, and vice-versa.
I generally feel like "Fanboy" posts are not negative; people just get excited about what they like and what they (this is important) actually *own*. When one...
I've found (at least for the T3/T3s coils) that rebuilding them with 3mm wick gives you enough wick material and you can do away with the two top loose wicks. Out of the box they seem to have a 2mm wick wrapped with the coil and the equivalent of about another 1mm for the loose wicks.
Once...
I'd aim for around 2.4 ohms. More coils will give you better wick coverage - the only trick is to keep your coils tight, if the positive side touches the metal casing, it will cause a short. More coils = more ohms.
Also try shift-enter for newlines...
I just yesterday got the Davide tank (Protank II-ish clone) and it is just lovely. Really enjoy being able to use my own drip tips. Friend got the Protank II, both are lovely.
When I started smoking, I was young and stupid. I wish I had never started. I would do my best to convince a young person not to start vaping, but they do, like I did, have every right to be young and stupid. My fear is that the fact that young people are vaping will give people reasons to...
It greatly depends on the juice. Right now I'm vaping a sweet cake-like juice and it is excellent at low voltage. Earlier, a tea, that benefited from a higher voltage... I just start around whatever voltage gives me 6 watts on my coil and adjust up or down from there as needed.
My point was (and remains) that a hard short on a high power battery can be dangerous. For those who know what you are doing, vape on. I do, however, think that warning new vapors, particularly those talking about sub-ohm when they are having trouble with much simpler setups, about the...
Give a Kanger T3 tank or a Kanger Protank a try (if you want a higher quality piece of hardware). If you clean the coils they last a long, long time and give a good vape:
And if you like, you can rebuild them:
Rebuilding Kanger Coils
As far as other rebuildables go, don't get me wrong. I...
I noticed you said you had leaking with your eGo, but you didn't say what kind of atomizer you were using. The eGo-T is a battery. If you are having problems with leaking, you may just want to try a different atomizer or cartomizer.
Go with a variable voltage or variable wattage PV first or maybe even an eGo Twist. These have protective circuitry in them that will help prevent you blowing your face off. Also, being able to control the voltage/wattage is nice as you can dial in a very nice vape. Which one to get? Doesn't...
