I've heard this logic a lot around here and I simply don't agree with it. I have two MVPs, they cost a combined $95. An MVP charge lasts me about two full days so that is 3.5 charges a week, meaning I'm going to probably get at least two years out of an MVP. How many years would it take for...- Lombaowski

Depends on the juice. Sticky high VG stuff seems to burn them quicker, but they still last quite a long time. Once the juice starts getting darker with refills, I rinse the tank, wash the wicks, and then let dry overnight. If the wicks are starting to fray, that's usually a good indication...- Lombaowski
