I've the Hippov2, and have used it with all my attys including SnP/Sophia. Have you adjusted the post in the Hippo to accommodate the Sophia? Interesting. I've got perfection, for me, using the same build I use in my Kayfuns. Single piece of cotton ball wick. It's hard for me to put the GT down. -
Kayfun LITE
I've done that on my Lite. I had to use a flathead screwdriver, and get in to the outer portions of the slots. A quick turn, and voilà! -

Besides heat, could the fluff keep up with that sort of wicking demand? That's what sparks my curiosity. -

Exactly as stated above, though I keep my cotton wick pretty consistent in size all the way through. Though, as mentioned, it's highly important to have the chamber holes plugged with your desired wick. I tried the flavor wick setup too, and found that to be flood prone. -

I, personally, ran both orange rings in the top, and both browns in the bottom. Reason: I found with one orange in the top, that Sophia could move back and forth (side to side) just a HAIR! Though it causes zero issues, it was enough to drive me bonkers! Don't judge me! Grats on the... -
