Well, I can respect that.
It is true that different people are affected differently by addictive substances. Some people won't even become addicted to different substances because of their genetics.
I'm just speaking in general. Nicotine is addictive, yes. For some it may be more...
Yup! Which is why the 'just quit' attitude of ANTZ is ignorant and borderline evil. They seem to know nothing about about nicotine addiction. If they did, they would understand that they are possibly condemning someone to a life of depression (or at least not as happy as they should be). Oh...
"I've proven, at least for me, that nicotine is significantly more addictive than caffeine. When I tried quitting cold turkey in the past, I always went back to smoking because the withdrawal was so extreme. Within 2 days of quitting cold turkey I suffered extreme migraines, nightmares, body...
Of course that's the case, you're still basically detoxing. I would assume if cigarette addiction is anything like other hard drugs, it'll take at least a year for your brain to get back to "normal" (as normal as it can get). Most likely 18 months is a better number. After 2 years of vaping...
Oh and please don't make me start ranting about stimulants. Adderall is an over-prescribed stimulant with much worse long-term effects than caffeine or nicotine. It's basically me+h, and pediatricians will gladly hand it out if little timmy can't focus. You know why little timmy can't focus...
"I personally find it absolutely stupid since nicotine is highly addictive"
Please don't say that or believe it. Every time I hear it, I'm gunna have to start spamming studies that *PROVE* nicotine is NOT highly addictive. We've got to bury that myth once and for all.
I don't always trust...
I totally understand why you're (seemingly) not impressed with the new...analysis..let's call it. The thing is, there have already been studies on PG & VG. We needed a scientist to interpret what was already available (for now). I mean, one PG animal study used thousands of mg/day if I'm not...
That's awesome! Congrats! Without getting too far off topic, I'll just say:
Almond butter (like peanut butter) mixed with yogurt, with some honey and cinnamon is amazing. Honey and cinnamon are really good for us and almonds have tyrosine which converts to dopamine. Slightly on topic because...
Evil! Pure evil! lol
Honestly, we all know why we don't want to support non-smokers vaping. Fear. We know it's going to be used against us by ignorant ANTZ. Well I'm tired of living in fear based on what some ahole might do.
Instead of being scared, stocking up, hoping nothing happens...
The general population doesn't need to believe us dirty drug addicts, they just need to see the facts backed up by peer-reviewed scientific journals. Don't believe for one second that a vaper is any more of a "drug addict" than ANYONE who drinks caffeinated beverages.
"Nicotine is the major...
Well, I don't want anyone to start smoking again. From my own experience, e-cigs have let me see how horrible they taste. If it was the other way around, it would be a lot harder for me to quit. I'm actually smoking until my protank 2 arrives tomorrow, and I can't wait to get it. These things...
This is another use for e-cigs that could benefit public health. Someone with a food allergy being able to vape that flavor (possibly, depending on the chemical makeup of the flavor), helping someone with a food addiction, etc etc.
All that needs to be done (IMO) is study the effects of PG...
With respect, it absolutely could NOT be a gateway thing. If you haven't smoked a cigarette since you started vaping, PLEASE go take a few drags off of one. Don't consider it a "relapse", consider it valuable research.
We can NOT allow these myths to continue. We especially can not have...
I really want to believe it's harmless, like everyone here. I'm starting to wonder though. It's obviously not toxic, massive amounts have been pumped into animals. It would be nice to know more though.
For Instance..
"We propose a novel hypothesis that PGEs in indoor air exacerbate and/or...
LOL you kid, right? If there's no nicotine, I would say a kid vaping is *most likely* healthier than drinking a soda and absolutely healthier than drinking an energy drink or eating at McDeaths (we'll know within the next few years). With nic though.....
