That's awesome!
I've also heard using thicker wire gives a better TH. I'm thinking about getting some 30ga to play with. 32+cotton is where I'm at. If your juice is dark just pull out the wick and replace it every few days. Clearer stuff could let you go a week or so. The best part is not...
"So far the KFL vapes better and is overall just a better way to vape (IMO). Small atty chamber, focused airflow on the coil, large juice reserve, minimal juice distance travel/ capillary rise (less than 5mm) needed to get juice through the wick to coil, no snap factor, ease of change outs... I...
Hrmmm...I know there are many different opinions on flat vs. round, but in this case flat might be better. This is splitting hairs, but probably less stress on the pores while wrapping and of course more surface area. Interdasting. Imma shoot you a PM later today.
I seriously feel your frustration. Even with cotton, I've had to do a lot of fiddling and adjustments to see what I like and what works best. All I'm saying is, the poor/decent performance you're experiencing really is the wick material, not the device as a whole. Glass fibers can't absorb the...
'someone needs to sell these'
Oh absolutely. If they were hand made, $20+ would not be unreasonable for a wick like this that is heat resistant and will last for a very long time. If they were mass produced, obviously $5ish would be more ideal. It's a great shape for mass production....
The protank head wick slot is 1.8mm wide, 2.45ish tall, just for reference. I'm sure there's some way you could get use out of it though. Maybe flattened and then folded over? Maybe with a sliver of cotton or silica in the middle of that fold so it doesn't create a channel that causes leaking...
and this is where I'm 100% ignorant and would love if someone knew (Bill?). What about ordering direct from manufacters? Private e-mails/phone calls/etc? I'm assuming they would have to actually ban nicotine sales altogether to prevent that? Is that something they can easily do or do you know...
They ALL need to at least put SOMETHING on their websites. It would be stupid not to. What are these vendors thinking? Someone may find one of the vendors websites but know nothing about what's going on. We need every single voice possible.
Wow, and of course they can't just be reasonable. Maybe some of these idiots actually do think they are 'saving the children'. Surely they could just tax us and get it over with instead of banning stuff. So my first thought was, 'this is 2013, is there really no way to verify age online or at...
Have you tried a RDA? I bought a mini RDA/ERA and it's rediculously easy to wrap a coil and tighten it down. I personally wouldn't like it for any kind of regular use, but it makes experimenting or trying different juices super simple. I think you honestly might find that you don't like the...
I'm so tempted to buy 25 of these. Think I'll be able to get rid of a few after the initial exitement is gone? I dunnooooooo. So torn between a bunch of these or setting up good Protank 2 kits for friends, family, anyone else. Thoughts? I'm worried a Russian 50% will come out a week after the...
Hey...Check This Out
It might be a LOT cheaper (for both parties) to machine the blocks instead of a manufacturer setting up custom dies for us. I'm annoying but not totally useless! :D
I'll check with some local companies tomorrow. Google search=Ceramic machining. Basically a notch up from...
Thanks for the info! I definately want to get a brick soon.
"Cuttin up white bricks" That's probably a rap song..hahaha
Hey, please no one think my previous post was implying info isn't shared. Obviously it is. My main point was 'ahhh what exactly is going on and is there any way I can...
ahhhhhh ok, removing some of the strands is different than pulling the whole thing out while leaving a huge gap. That makes more sense...sorry about that :/
