Its a toss-up for me. I only have two finishes and like them for different reasons:
TRA : No matter how many battle scars it gets, it still looks great after a quick polish
Clearcoated Tumbled: Glossy finish that still shows the tumble pattern.
The Raw is actually a "Tumbled" that I polished (I should have said tumbled on my post)
The Clearcoat is a "Tumbled" mod that has simply a clear gloss coating - its shiny but still shows the tumble pattern........Whereas if you polish a raw tumbled you lose the tumble marks
I had the same problem as I work construction also. For me I was also using too much Noalox which gives the debris something to stick too and makes a nice, sticky paste.....so easy on the noalox!
