Looks good w/ that fat DT! Black Wrinkle is a cool finish! Funny, I expected the Grand to be bigger when it arrived as well! Fits in your hand so nicely doesn't it?! (good thing, since that's where it'll spend most of its time) -

Thanks for the walk-through! Wow! Now I don't feel so bad about my disaster of a first attempt! (Wasn't sure if all tridents were a PITA or just the versions I had). I'll save the remaining two for when I'm bored and want a challenge. Time to get to work on my stockpile of atomics... -

There's an intergrated inner bushing portion of the insulator that juts out and acts as a spacer between the two pieces of the adjustable post. (you can see it in the pic)......Because of this the 510 end comes out from the bottom and the coil end comes out from the top. The copper 510 piece... -

Did you mod yours yet? My cheap Trident V2 clone looks like this: The insulator on the bottom side (not pictured, sorry) is literally paper-thin.... not much drillable material there. I don't think the cutoff wheel/dremel method would work either as the slots on both post pieces would have... -
