    Johnson Creek Flavors

Hey Confusednoobie, When I first started vaping I was using what were mostly PG juices, within a short time I started having problems that my research indicated might be related to PG sensitivities, though I can't say as a fact that that was what was happening. My problems included an ever...

    Johnson Creek Flavors

Overall I think JC is pretty good juice, and their shipping time has always been exceptional. I use only 100% VG or high VG, and I've tried about everything in JC's Red Oak line. All have been good and very vape-worthy with a few exceptions - Valencia, smelled great in the bottle, but I can't...

    Groove boards

That pretty well answered my questions. All I can say is stupid f'ing design. I only own one Smok PV, and after seeing this not sure I would ever buy another one. I've always preferred to build my own anyway, and this whole scenario only serves to reenforce that idea. Thanks for the link to the...

    Groove boards

Okay, I understand both BJ43 and dr g, and I have zero experience with Lipos, but is it really that easy to perforate the skin on one of these batteries? I have no reason to doubt what you are saying, and I believe both of you, but some little voice in the back of my head keeps telling me that...

    Groove boards

One would think that if the problem was truly a case of jostling causing the battery to shift and thereby subjecting it to puncture or contact to cause shorting, then this problem would have become apparent during the shipping process. I know they are packed to withstand vibration, but the way...

who got you into vaping and what happened to them

The cardiologist who had just put three stents in my heart got me started. Now, he didn't tell me to start using e-cigs, he just leaned over, put his finger in my face and said, "you have got to quit smoking." Having tried numerous times to quit smoking, I knew I needed help, as much with the...

Why do ppl say you have to drink more water when you vape

When I first started vaping I was probably using around .5ml to 1ml per day and I had some localized dehydration issues, that being mouth and sinuses. Upped my water intake to no less than 64 oz per day, consumed throughout the day, and things really improved. Now I have less upper respiratory...

    Question about variable voltage

Sorry lviperz, guess I should have been more attentive to your question. As r77r7r and tj99959 said, in unregulated mode it provides a warmer vape with a fresh charge. How long it stays at the higher level depends on whether you are a heavy or light vaper, in conjunction with the resistance of...

    Question about variable voltage

Lets say you like vaping a 2.2 ohm atty/carto at 4.0 volts... which would be about 7.3 watts. If you only had a 3 ohm atty/carto available, at 4 volts you would vaping at about 5.3 watts, and that would likely be a much less satisfying vape. If you had a VV device you could adjust the voltage up...

    Dual coil or single coil?

No. There is no benefit of this nature at all.

What can I tell friends who are struggling to make it work?

Amen to the above. I believe every new vaper should learn the basics first. If you know the basics, you have a foundation of knowledge and experience to draw on when your fancy new RBA or clearo leaks, gurgles, burns, or just plain doesn't work very well. Frustration in dealing with these...

    Dual coil or single coil?

Subjective really... the dual coils will deplete your battery quicker. I much prefer single coils, to my point of view only... dual coil is just another of the many gimmicks in vaping to separate people from their money.

First post, hello, and I have some questions

Welcome Gdh09, probably more than a few folks out and away from their computers this weekend. CMC

    Protank question

I like 2.5 ohms and a good VV/VW PV, others like much less resistance. Browsing through the Mods sections shows that some are building coils 1 ohm or less. As with everything else, it depends on what you like. Experiment, but be safe and smart, and don't fry your batteries or your PV.

    Anger Management Tips?

Agreed, this can be typical of quitting smoking, and higher nic content would likely help with this symptom. I would also recommend that you research relaxation techniques. I have long used a method of controlled breathing - long, deep, slow breaths, then slow, slow exhale - exhale should be...

    Best way to sample flavors?

+1 for what Katya said, with an addition. Get some cartomizers to go along with your kit. My personal recommendation would be Smok Tech cartos, though Boge and Kanger are also widely available. Learning to use the cartos will keep you from going back to smoking when the frustration occurs that...

ohm's in your clearomizers..how to know what to get

I am not sure of the minimum ohm rating for egos, if any. I would think your best bet would be either the 1.8 or the 2.2 coil, really a matter of your personal preference. The 1.8 will drain your battery quicker than the 2.2.

    O-rings again

Don't use tanks so I can't help with the o-rings, but a little bump to keep your question near the top, and maybe some else can help. Good luck!

    These wont last long

Could be a bit tricky, but I've been thinking about cutting or de-soldering the switches from the board. Wouldn't really want to have to open the mod to push buttons, and don't want the aggravation of trying to make and fit/secure shaft extensions for the switches. Anybody have any other...

    14500s in Parallel?

I made a simple parallel 14500 mod and used it a lot before going strictly VV/VW. Best feature about putting the batts in parallel is that it doubles the available current, which does make a difference in performance driving your carto/atty. Put mine in a translucent blue three AA box, with a...
