You can pull it out a little by putting a paperclip or something small in the center post hole and wiggle it a bit while pulling it out. Just dont pull it out too far and it will be fine. Or you can pick up an adapter at just about any vendor, i bought my short sealed 510-510 at Good Prophets...
I did the same setup except I opened up the holes a bit. Works great.
I guess a short 510 adapter would work, I had no problems with it firing on my Provari, but do have a mod that I have to pull the center pin on the SRT to get it to make good contact, just a tiny bit. The problem I had on the...
Sounds like you are on the right track. I have used the inserts over about half the time. Yes, just clip the excess as close to the seal as possible and you will be fine.

Wow, I would sure like to know how a meltdown without heat transfer was possible. Was it made of fiberglass? I will have to try to find that thread....
I would say the switch type is irrelevant. Unless you are using the switch as a venting spot. And as far as I know, and I may be wrong, the telescope mod was not advertised as a stacked battery mod. So basically you all think mod manufacturers need to design everything to take into account...
If you were to experience a meltdown, especially if you are using a safer chemistry battery (as you should be), I would guess the scalding heat would let you know something was wrong well before it would ever blow up in your face. An IMR doesn't just go off immediately, it is a slower failure...
I finally got a SS wick to work, my first attempt was a mess for some reason. Can't say if I really like it anymore than the cotton one I was using before. I guess the durability will be nice, even though the cotton has held up for a week now and still is sitting ready to go if needed.
I am...
A razor blade works well; you can cut it flush with the top of the connector then sand it smooth. The plastic isn't very tough. Just watch your fingers!
Or it could be how much you spend on it. It is funny how much your mind can convince you something is better just because you spend more money on it. That may not be applicable here, and isn't true in a lot of instances, but I'm just sayin'.... :)
Have you trimmed the extra plastic off the top of the Rocket? That is required to have a few devices work on it.
I have noticed that the SRT seems to have a bit shorter connector than many other devices. If you pull the center connector pin down it will work on most batteries. Problem is, if...
The Bolt does fine with the IMRs actually, and will do fine with the eFests. The reason people say you shouldn't use them with IMRs is due to the smallish wiring, but the wiring is more than capable of handling almost anything you throw at it. Not sure if I would trust it with stacked batteries...
Wow, 10 Zmax. That will be a crazy few moments. Kinda hope I am able to score one. My 2nd Vmax died today and I am quite bummed. I'll never buy another Vmax, but would love to see how the Z works out, if even for only a month (like both Vs).
Not sure if I ever posted this, but bill's rant about the bottom reminded me of this.
About 1 week after I got my first Vmax, I set it down on the counter to get myself a glass of milk. Well, silly me, I took a step and it fell over like it always did. Then I heard the hissing. It had fell...
Sure thing fuzz!
Yeah, I bought them from an awesome vendor, I'm sure they will take care of me like they did in the past.
I have been using eFest batteries for the most part, with an odd rotation of other IMRs. I love the eFests, I am in the process of switching all my batteries over to...
