    I have had no problems with leaking through the connector, and I have had some leaks, I was only concerned with it leaking around the connector myself. Maybe I am just lucky!

    The possibility you just have a bad carto is pretty good. If it has a big hole you should not need another unless the carto is bad. I would give a fresh one a try and go from there! Salky
