    Maybe it is a voltage thing, but I have 1.5 and 1.7's I use on my Reos and Bolt and I do not have burning with most of my juices. That is why I suggested it may be otherwise as well.

    Have you tried rinsing them out yet? Ot is a pain to get that primer flavor out once it is burned in. Rinse under hot water and maybe soak in PGA or vodka to help get it out.     I have flat tops that will not work in my Rocket at all. Has to be a subtle difference of some sort if they look the same.

    I have had no problems with the ST1.7's. I run the Jr's on my Reos and the standards on my Bolt and box mods. There have been reports of a few bad batches out there though.
