I like the Rocket. A low priced, light weight VV is a great thing to offer. Mine is fine with minimal modifications so far, and sealing the connector could probably solve a few of the reported failures. Maybe a stiffer spring as well.

I still believe it is a contact issue or battery connection issue if it comes on then either will not adjust or reverts back to 3.0. Mine did this until I stretched the spring, and will still revert back if I shock it downward on the bottom, and it don't have to be a hard shock either. I haven't...

Ron, it is much more powerful than a regular eGo. It uses PWM and on the on cycle it puts out around 7v, then adjusts its off time to give an approximate overall voltage average at where you set it.

You could always go to the hardware store and buy new o-rings. That is super cheap and will do wonders to tighten up the grip on a used tank. Or buy some with a slightly larger thickness. I had some small tanks that were too loose and used different o-rings to tighten it up. I also use unflanged...
