Haven't played with a MVP yet, but the Reo is also a bottom-feeder as well. Reos are generally extremely durable and US made. Without having tried the MVP I can't really compare them though.
You have to give it up to the Chinese, the way they repurpose all the parts from the mp3 players is brilliant. They turned them into pocket scopes, battery packs with displays, and now PVs. Makes for some interesting form factors....

I have been using the Novas for a while but have been liking the T2's lately. Either with a 1.7-ish head and I can use them on anything with good results.
Rebuildables are great, but contrary to what some may think, they just aren't for everyone.
I'd say 4-6 would suffice. Don't use them all that often, but when I need them they always seem to be dead!

Got bored the other day and finished up the CE9 rebuildable finally. After a little grinding, a nice hydrogen peroxide and vinegar bath, and parts from an old stardust, she was done and put back into service. Nice and small, works just fine.
