Any suggestions on a drip cup or something to put over the 510 connector to give the mod a more finished look and protect the wood. Something that will still fit the nimbus.
Pretty simple, put the atomizer on top of a socked to the threads not dont touch something and get damaged. I used a small wooden dowel and a hammer to press the pin out it came out after 2 light taps. As far as the insulator goes, I used a drill bit that was larger than insulator but smaller...
Worked perfect.
Pushed out the center min and made small cut down the length of the insulator. now my Nimbus clone is working great on the bottom feeder.
Ended up Switching up the design, as there was a conflict between the switch and the 510 connector. here is the final product.
Its a little bigger than i wanted it to be, but I figured I can try and miniaturize it on the next try.
This is mi first Mod attempt.
So far its actually working out pretty good. hopefully should have it complete before the end of the weekend.
Rough box Glued together
AFter A lot of sanding starting to look decent. Still a little gap in the door that I can't get rid off.
Not sure if I am...
I am in a process of building one myself. I was wondering what is the metal button that you are using and what are you using for the 510 connector collars.
