Yea, I'm gonna have to schedule a phone conversation with you Matt after you get back bro. Plan on opening a B&M in the relatively near future after moving back to LA. Have fun on your vacation, and take loads of pictures.
eBay- MISSOURI MEERSCHAUM CORNCOB PIPE STEM, they look excellent but do require alittle sanding to fit properly. Easiest most inexpensive way to practice. The first three I got from them took maybe an hour or two to fit and finish. This does require some crafting skill and supplies. Here's one...
That's the main reason I asked if it was spray on bed liner. The stuff I used on my old truck bed was black, textured, extremely durable, and made to adhere to scuffed metal. It won't peel or scratch like the spray rubber. But if your not careful and tape off the sides correctly I can that rough...
That 20 should work unless the internal fuse/resistor is jacked up for that setting. You could try the 2, but you run the risk of blowing that fuse too. For measuring volts on my batts, I just use my Provari Mini, but I also have the Twins for it so I can check all my 18xxx size batts.
I've had GVC but not the Vanda. GVC is one of the only vanilla flavors I've found that I like. Ijust got some Bread of Heaven from across the pond, and it's nearly indistinguishable from LBL's flavor just alittle more mellow.
It's a cheap one, so the material used for the leads probably isn't the greatest. Not to mention the resistor inside might not be great. Those are normally used to test voltage, and not meant to be extremely accurate down to the 2nd decimal place ohms. It will however tell you if have an open or...
The Killer is alot like the Penelope only without the tank, and not as many tiny pieces. So like I said, probably not gonna change your mind unless you liked the Pene, but not the extensive breakdown.
Other than the Anunnaki Sun, what else do you have (or tried) in the way silica rebuildables? Didn't you have a Penelope? If you didn't get on very well with her, then I doubt a Killer is gonna change much. The insane VTF you get from a really good Gennie setup can make it hard to go back to...
Alright, well I'm probably in the best position to help in this silica atty comparison review, as I have at least one of each of the kits you guys are asking about. The comparisons and descriptions below are strictly between the silica style atties in this review.
***FYI: I am partial to both...
