    One thing, you atty might be shorting out. try another one. Also to change form mode to mode the led has to be out to start then click fast and stop after 5 try it with out any thing on it.

    You have to click it real fast one after another. If nothing try 3 clicks and it should be in voltage up. 4 clicks voltage down. and 5 click will tell you what mode you are in.

    When you put the batteries in you have one one way(+) and the other (-) they are not parallel they are in series. Just asking to make sure you have them in right.
