    Hi Wolf, I've got 10 Smok 1.7 Metals here that are real nice and I'm going to try the IKV Platinums also. We might as well explore all the options, nothing but the best for our tanks, right? Haha, if we can buy Provari and other mods just to match the tanks, why not get the premium carto out there?

    They should be Smoks, mine were. Next time I try I'm going to look at that diagram again that shows where the coils are placed so I don't punch into one. I really didn't make a deep or large punch but it just didn't work well for me.

    I tried a shorty DCC in my tank. I think I blew a coil when I punched it, it was not good. Very weak flavor and vapor on a 3.7. Tried it on a VV mod @ 5V and not much improvement, so I'm thinking it didn't survive the punch process. But people have used them successfully.

    Yep, have heard complaints lately of funky, but not burnt, tasting cartos. Just this AM in fact someone said theirs tasted like chemicals. It's really a crap shoot these days, that's why I switched from the Boges and am looking for the best alternatives.

    I syringe it out, it usually tastes fine, not tainted by the bad carto. Only the juice in the carto would be bad.     Try MadVapes or IKV, they both have the longer cartos in STD resistance. The thing is they have to be the same diameter also to fit the tanks.

    Hi Lily, you shouldn't use the LR 1.5 cartos at HV, they are just for 3.7 - 4.2 or so. Try the 3.0 cartos for HV vaping. You can try the resurrectors to clear the button but they are also LR @ 1.7 or so. You could also get one of those shorty adapters to clear the button.
