    In theory, the closer the coil wraps are to each other, the faster the coil will heat up, as the adjacent wraps will contribute heat to each other. At least that's how I understand it, I could be wrong though. There are probably many other factors that contribute to the overall vape in regards...

    The posts are quite far off the deck, but I found that I could bend the coils down close enough for my liking. Non issue really, but I would have liked to see the connection points closer to the deck.

    It's not too bad, I go through about 3-4 350's in a 12-16 hour day. The small stature is worth the reduced battery life to me.

    ^^ Have you tried the recommended setup of 2 thick O rings and 4 washers? Seems to me that as long as that works out for you, the batteries you have will work just fine.

    I prefer IMR. However, in the 18650 size, if you are good with the 6.8A limit of the protected AW it is a quality battery that will give you longer battery life between charges than the IMR. It's really a matter of preference. But as raq stated above, the protected version is taller.

    I picked one up because it's innovative, and dual coils in a kayfun is a pita, although it works very well. It's also 21mm and as I have a 21mm DNA20 mod on it's way, that spec put me over the top and forced my hand to the 'Add to cart' button. I have a disease for which I have not found a cure.

    I should also state that after building the Aqua, I have no inhibitions about setting up dual coils with just the thumb screw type fasteners for the coil leads. I found it much easier than I expected. I am growing more excited for the release of the Strata-Simp and the following Strata-P+.

    Looks great, I really wish Team Rampage would have offered a shorter chimney section for this kit. There is an almost identical kit put out by Mod Factory in Italy that does include the shorter chimney. I have one on the way, but thanks for posting this it gives me a great idea of what to expect.
