I just found this thread, but here is my take: The House of Representatives just passed a democratic partisan budget that made some pretty big promises to create state revenue for education. Another positive arises in the recently discovered fact that my business partner (<-- Read: Boss) has approved my purchase request for 2 new CAD workstations for myself and my lead CAD technician. Finally!!! Efficiency tends to be difficult when working on old technology. -

In addition to that it re-defines the tax on "tobacco substitutes" from 95% to 75%. Not much better at all. Late spring is absolutely beautiful here. You will see rain, but you will probably see some sun too. I wouldn't expect any snow unless you venture into the mountains. A drive north to the border should be no issue and the sights would be worth it imo... -

I know for sure I'll be headed down (3 hour drive for me) for Blake's grand opening party... if and when a Domo retail location ever does materialize. Portland is a great town to visit, mostly for the strippers, but there are other cool things there too. -

Yep, rain. The usual light to medium constant rain that we love so much here in Western WA. It's been warm enough to make it much less annoying than the usual January rains. Rainy Sundays are perfect for slow smoking some ribs and other goodies as the rain helps regulate my smoker's... -
