    Welcome & congratulations! :) Your bottom coil looks like a T3. I had problems with it leaking onto the battery too. I've read that, because of the size of the base, it doesn't work well on some devices.

    You should get over it pretty quick. I coughed the first time i tried an ecig. Almost every smoker i know coughs when i let them try a puff.

    Welcome danjohno :thumb: Best tip i can give you is to start drinking more water. Ecigs are going to dehydrate you a bit.

    I don't think you'll get withdrawals. You might just find yourself vaping a little more. Lower nic will give you less throat hit, though.

    Newbie looking for advice

    The brand of cigalikes that i started out with were like this too. It looks like the reverse of most of the other products out there. The male end of the connection is on the battery & the female end is on the carto. I'm not 100% sure, but i don't think that adaptor will help.

    Good call! I decided to go with the white out, partially as an excuse to test the pyrex vivi nova. You're right, its spot-on for a white tic tac. I only ordered 15ml so i'm doubtful it will get much time to steep. This is one of the best flavors i've tried & a definite reorder.

    Agreed...i've started adding a few drops of extreme ice when i fill a tank with wild cherry. It cuts the sweetness a bit & adds a menthol-y kick

    The iclear 16 is a top coil, but the drip tip is threaded & isn't really replaceable. The T3 is bottom coil, and you can't remove the drip tip. Yep its a great idea to try both top coil & bottom coil (and tanks, cartomizers, etc.) & find what you like best :thumb:

    What kind of clearomizer did you buy? And yes, you can use a drip tip with most cartomizers, but they're not absolutely necessary.

    Two quick things about drip tips: 1. Not all clearomizers have replaceable drip tips, so check out the info on the clearomizers you ordered before you decide to buy extra drip tips. 2. Choice of drip tip is basically just a style choice, but certain materials are better for certain situations...
