    3 Mine are pretty reliable, they just have to be rebuilt about every week, give or take. I don't know why you would have problems like that. ETA: you can't just use ekowool on its own like silica?

    2 I am so shocked to read this. Out of all of my tanks my AGA-T is my favorite (closely followed by my vivi) (you do have an AGA-T+, right?). Clouds of vapor. My boyfriend does hate rebuilding it, though. We use mesh and kanthal or nichrome. (kanthal is preferable)

    5 we have dogs but they run away from him all the time and they're small. the cat does very well with him. likes him, even. the kitty naps while Zane slaps him in the face. I think this is a good thing! I'm glad your little man enjoys your cats.
