Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

Picked up some of the Simichrome polishing paste we were discussing about earlier. It's shinier than I wanted but it still looks good. Used my drill press and some extra hand buffing pads for my car. With Simichrome Without Simichrome, brushed with green scotchbrite

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

If you can't unscrew the brass bolt cup (that holds the magnet) from the button, than it's glued. People have boiled the whole bottom assembly to try to dissolve/soften the glue. People have let it sit in acetone, isopropyl alcohol, and Hoppes #9 solvent gun cleaner, to get rid of the glue...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

You can heat/change the spring. I don't use my pinky to fire the mod. I use my pointer, middle, or ring finger (usually the middle).

Glued Sigelei 19 bottom cap (firing mechanism) disassembly

It's a hit or miss situation, some people don't have problems with theres. But to fully reduce voltage drop, you are gonna need to dissassemble the cap.

    Wire Rope for Wick?

The Vape is awesome, but it over wicks if you vape it not completely straight vertically. Its awesome for high VG juice. I've also noticed that there's less of a metallic taste. It will leak into ur pocket easily. Lining the deck with some extra wick works to prevent that. My best Vape...

    Wire Rope for Wick?

Made a U-wick, was bored and still had a lot of extra 3/32' 7x7. Wrapped some cotton for a more moistened and flavorful vape. Using it for a while now, works perfect for lung-hittin chain vapers who use 90%vg

I haven't done any voltage drop testing since i got my 19e (brass), finally got to it. #19 (Brass) - 0.24v Titan (Aluminum) - 0.33v #19 (Steel) - 0.47v Avenger - 0.68v I can get the voltage drop even lower with the 19s. I had the steel 19 lower than...

    Help creating a bomb setup!

Not if you use ekowool or ceramic wick. I use to run 1.2ohm coils on ekowool at 6 volts, it works good. It would destroy cotton wicks fast though.

Stainless Steel Cable U-wick with 90%vg juice No dry hits, ever. Here's the new experiment some vapers onreddit are doing. Using ekowool to reduce the chamber size for more condensing, and using wick on the top deck of the Genesis RBA to enhance the flavor. Well it works, really good...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

You will feel the notches on the side of the brass cup when you press it, it will snag on the delrin a bit. It happened to me when I overtorqued the vice when I using my drill press. I had to step-sand the brass to make the button-press feel smooth again.

    Sigelei 19 or 19b?

I gotta disagree on the feel and look, but the kts does work a lot better out of the box than the Sig 19. The kts is small and compact though. I'm not a pinky button fan either I like the 19s feel better than the titan, avenger, and sentinel; after modding the button with soft springs and...

    Sigelei 19 or 19b?

No, the magnets are just giving out voltage drop. Thanks sigelei The shock and misfires are from the lower half of the bottom cap( the firing mechanism) suddenly becoming or not becoming part of the circuit. So people usually stuff the bottom cap with conductive materials to always keep it...

^Damn some nice mods you got there ilegal. :2cool: Brushed, Polished, and Sealed Yeah get the 19v2 or the 19b, over the regular 19; they have less problems but they're still there. If you don't mind losing the strength and non-fading shine of stainless steel, go for the 19e (brass) with...
