    People replace them with brass "things" (brass screws (requires drill tap set for bottom cap), nuts, or anything that fits) to reduce voltage drop in the #19.

    ^I agree, they work great out of the box. I would say the sigelei 19, BUT ONLY if you don't mind tinkering, and already have the tools in your possession to modify it. You would be spending money on a lot of stuff otherwise.

    I actually just let it steep in boiling water until it got to room temperature, the 2nd time I let it steep in boiling water but I put it under a tea light for like an hour or two
