    It's not that I was ever embarrassed that I smoked. I too was a proud smoker. Thought I had it all figured out. And the same goes for vaping. I am a proud vaper. I don't hide it and I am not afraid to explain the basics to anyone. The frustrating part is the people who just want to be closed...

    I do agree that we can't just be rude or secretive about vaping. I am a proud vaper but sometimes people just don't get it. You can explain the whole thing to them and the response is..."you're still smoking". Just like ScottP said...you can't fix stupid!

    Does it annoy anyone else that there seems to be a mindset among some people that if you "quit" smoking by use of a patch, medical inhaler, or gum then you have quit. But if you are vaping an ecig then you are "still smoking". Never mind that some people chew that nic gum everyday for years...

    The other thing to consider here is the stability of the set up. Besides the fact that it may or may not look silly to some folks, the heavy tank on that little battery is going to be somewhat unstable IMHO.

    having issues with my vivi nova

    I had one do that once too. It wouldn't fire and it would show my atomizer head resistance at 9.9 ohm. I found that when I filled the tank, I had inadvertently gotten a bit of juice down inside the battery post. Apparently I didn't have my head on tight when I filled it and some got down there...

    Why did you start vaping?

    I started vaping because it is the best of both worlds in my opinion. I get to keep my nic habit but get rid of the downsides of stinking like an ashtray, yellowing my teeth, and standing out in the cold to smoke. Vaping is the perfect option in my opinion! :D

    What was your brand?

    I started on Marlboro Reds for $1.65/pack and finished on Grand Prix Lights for $5.25/pack. I am still working on finding that perfect juice but I believe Copper Creek House Blend is a contender. I've only been vaping about 2 months though.
