I had a lot of trouble with sore throat at first and finally ended up dropping from 18mg down to 12mg and that took care of the vast majority of the sore throat issues.
Getting completely off the analogs is a very difficult thing to do for a lot of people. Even with vaping. But the biggest thing to remember is that each cigarette avoided is its own victory. Every time we make the choice to pass up an analog we win a little battle. Each of us has within...
They have ongoing cost but that can be controlled for the most part. Just don't buy the "next great thing" that comes out every ten minutes.
But, like others have said, it comes down to you and your vape budget. I personally have no immediate plans to ever quit vaping. I enjoy it too much. But...
Yes the MVP can be used while charging. Just have to wait for the red light to go out. But once it turns to green you can vape it. I love my MVP. Use it and my ProVari daily.
Congrats and welcome to the forum!
Only advice I would give at this point is to stick with it. You are doing great. There is a world of stuff available to us vapers. Just experiment and find what works best for you and run with it. Anything that keeps you off the analogs is a great set up...
Going from an 18650 to an 18500 to an 18350 would make no difference in the taste of your vape unless they were at different states of discharge. They are all 3.7V batts. The MAH rating on the battery will not change the power output of the battery. The coil resistance would have done that though.
Listen, I'm sure no one on here is really trying to be mean about anything. However we really want to get the point across that rebuilding coils and working with a mechanical device are for experienced vapers and that doing so without the proper knowledge can be VERY dangerous. For the good of...
I just used a lighter for a little while until I remembered I had a small handheld propane torch in the garage. But I have 4 meters that I can check my coils on. Never too safe!!
Please please please buy a meter to check your resistance and for the love of God do some more research before you hurt yourself. I'm all for chasing clouds and getting a great vape but safety has to be the priority. At least you asked these questions before doing anything.
And btw...never...
While watching a news story about regulating the ecig industry my 12 year old son made the comment that it is stupid for them to keep kids from doing this. It would be better than them actually smoking. Threw me for a loop for sure.
Been really considering dropping down to 0mg. I started with 18mg and dropped to 12mg within a month or so. Now I bounce from 12mg to 6mg. I'm thinking I will do the bounce from 6mg to 0mg for a while and see how it goes.
Sony US18650VTC4 IMR 2100mAh 30A Lithium Ion Battery
Here you go. $11.99/ea. And as far as I can tell it shouldn't be a problem for them to ship to Canada.
I don't ever dry burn my PT coils. For some reason it always seems to get a funky burnt rubber taste. I have taken them apart and never seen any evidence of a scorched insulator but that is what it tastes like. For that reason alone I just rebuild them when I feel it is time to change things up...
