I think "mod" is short for "modifiable". I would argue that cheaper Chinese clones are *easier* to get improvement out of because of the unfinished quality some may (or may not) have, offering a certain appeal to the tinkerer that *wants* to work on a mod themselves, polish it, etch it... -

I want to upgrade to APV... but WHY?
And more "options" in regards to VV (and/or VW capability... something a Provari will "never have", so I'm told) and usually a lower resistance thresh hold. I think most egos and like won't fire anything below 1.5 ohms. Most regulated APVs like the Provari, Zmax, Vamo, etc. will usually handle... -

The only thing an APV can possibly give you "more" of is amperage. Egos and the like are very low amperage and most come with built in over discharge protection (that's why they use a sealed battery) to keep them from melting down. Most AVPs are built of stouter electronics and are designed... -

I agree with everything you just said here. The Igo-L at least has a bit of a bowl to hold juice. A little gurgle through the factory airhole once in awhile but I've gotten pretty good about not overfilling it now. I tried dental floss under the cap o-rings... that worked but I ended up going...- Oktyabr

@tekk - check this one: vapelyfe robs quad coil - YouTube I would never recommend an RDA/RBA for a beginner. Be sure you watch LOTS of videos if you decide to do this though... And welcome to ECF!- Oktyabr

How my ecig almost got me in jail
What's crazy is that I live in a state where a substance that is illegal most everywhere else was just made legal. I wouldn't get harassed at all for THAT, unless I was intoxicated, but I know one guy who claims anyway that he was stopped with his APV... something about a laser.- Oktyabr
