What pv did you start with and what APV is now your fav?

Garbage DSE cigalikes four years ago. Vision Spinner and some clearos a few months ago. Vamo V2 and my first RBAs and RDAs two months ago Mechs and nothing but RBAs and RDAs now, mostly SLR (below 1.2 ohms).

    My Vamo v2 from FastTech!

Those fasttech vamo kits... Do they really include a pair of Panasonic CGR18650CH with them? Or did they skimp on the batteries too?

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

Actually the spring is part of the conductive circuit. The battery comes into contact with the cup, the cup is connected to the button, but the circuit isn't complete until it reaches the outside of the mod itself. This is why some people were having misfires unless they pushed the button...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

Why put a magnet back in it? It's not near as good a conductor as brass, copper or aluminum and actually does *nothing* in this mod except to touch the bottom of the battery. AND you will have to glue it back in (brass is non-magnetic). Screwing the mod together is what brings the battery...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

Where did you find the #61? Was that a co-op?

In need of a mod recommendation (specific criteria)

Cloudz, here is a smoking deal on a Sig #8 and a free bottle of juice (I wouldn't buy their batteries, etc. though). Hot off the press: Sigelei #8 Mod Electronic Cigarette from AquaVaporCig North Carolina

In need of a mod recommendation (specific criteria)

For a regulated mod I would say the Vamo should fit the bill. Cheap, capable, relatively well built. It has no competition in it's price range, IMHO.

    Excellent battery life!

What ohms are your RBA reading? You know that the vamo will read below 1.2 ohms even if it won't fire it, right? ;) I run Panny CGR18650CH 2250mah in a vamo and a couple of mechs. I have Efest IMR 18350s too but don't use them enough to track how long they last. I also have a Nitecore 4 bay...

In need of a mod recommendation (specific criteria)

The Paladin has wires in it. It's not a matter of repairing wires, it's the added complexity of the device that keeps me away from such a device. Further the extra wires, solder joints, etc. may all contribute to limiting the capability of the mod as well as possibly introducing extra voltage...

I didn't mention the KTS or K100/101 because he said he preferred one that was *not* telescoping ;)

Sigelei #8 mechanical mod, although the button is on the bottom/side of the tube, "pinky style" firing switch, not on top. I love mine!

Hardest hitting China clone; out of the box

Yeah, you need to see qorax's CCTS. It's a thing of beauty, etched by a jeweler and all. Just goes to say "cheap" does not necessarily mean "ugly" ;) Actually I understand that one fires pretty nice right out of the box. I don't have one so I can't say. But you might have brought up a valid...

    Need Panasonic 18650 recommendations.

I love the Panny CGR18650CH. That's a tough battery to beat at any price. IMR hybrid = "safer chemistry", also "high drain", which is essential in a mech at low ohms. Read some more on the NCR before you spend the extra cash. Search the forums, it's out there. Do NOT put protected...

    1st mech help

I use Panasonic IMR hybrids (the ever popular CGR18650CH) in everything, including my mechs. No, I don't use a kick. No, I don't use a fuse. No, I don't stack. Yes, I have Efest IMR 18350s too but prefer the larger 650's. Yes, clearos and the like will work on a mech but really an...

Hardest hitting China clone; out of the box

Sure, of course. You will never find support like that at the price level of most Chinese clones. But then again you shouldn't *need* it either, not with a mech... not if it's been covered by the community and found to work "as is" or with little to no modification. Last but not least I'll...

    Mechanical mods for noob

Maintenance is not the issue. It's having the patience and fortitude to build them in the first place. A steady hand and good eyesight (or a magnifying glass) are real benefits. If you are not sure this is for you please take the time to try and rebuild a cheap clearo, vivi nova head, or even...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

I hated my #19 when I first got it. It's almost all I use now! It's become my favorite. The modding is all pretty easy and I've taken a fair amount of time and trouble to outline some of the best ways of making it perform as it *should have*, straight out of the box. Re-read this thread, pay...

Hardest hitting China clone; out of the box

If there was ever a Sigelei fanboy I'm it. Just needed to get that out of the way up front ;) "Voltage drop" IS an improvement to *minimize* a number, or taken inversely, to increase the amount of voltage making it to the coil... it will still never exceed what the battery itself is capable...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

Well, for those of you that haven't joined us in our "Budget Mech Mods" group yet (see link below, in my signature!), or can't see the group (tapatalk on mobile) I've stepped yet another one into cheap, easy modification of the #19. I *replaced* the modified juice bottle cap OR the modified...

Sigelei Mech Mods thread break up suggestion.

We actually tried getting a sub-forum created, generously suggesting it should be for all of the less expensive "clone" mech mods, but obviously Sigelei. You can read the thread if you like but the forum admins are for some reason hesitant to do so and suggested that we create a social group...
