Yes, the firing pin screws INTO the button which is actually part of a threaded tube. Two pair of needle nose pliers should suffice although the button may need a little heat applied to it to coax it... Most are held in place with loctite or similar adhesive and can be very stubborn without a... -

All the threads got a *light* coating of "Ox-Gard". This is a similar product to Noalox and uses zinc powder in the formulation to fill microscopic voids between two pieces of metal which help to improve conductivity. -

Precisely! And really none of these, not even the Caravela or Zen, are truly "expensive" compared to what I was spending on cigarettes. Expensive? Sooner or later some celebrity will get photoed with a diamond studded one-off somewhere, gold and silver will begin to show up in place of copper... -

I go with the juice wicking differently to the coil as the heat builds up. BUT it could also be that your new choice of battery is the "protected" version of the NCR18650B and it's built in protection circuit is not playing very nicely with the built in protection of your mod; in effect...- Oktyabr

Yup. Very nicely made. An extra benefit of the #8 is because it is *not* telescoping there are fewer exposed threads to get dirt and dust into, "out in the field". Something like a cross between the #8 with the #19 button would make me very happy. -
