    Vegetable Gylcerin vs Generic Glycerin

Scottes, we've already gone over this exact, and I mean EXACT, same thing in another thread, and I've answered this exact question before, about the NOW product: here's the post...

    Vegetable Gylcerin vs Generic Glycerin

A company is not allowed to label their product as USP, unless they are producing their product to USP compendial standards, in an FDA registered and licensed facility utilizing cGMP(current good manufacturing practices). I've tried to explain Kashrut laws as best as I can, but just using Kosher...

    Vegetable Gylcerin vs Generic Glycerin

From another post with a few additions: I'm a pharmacist in PA. I'm going to copy and paste a post I wrote in another subforum: Go to the skin care aisle of most any pharmacy and you'll find a small(usually 6oz) bottle labled Glycerine, USP(Some pharmacies don't carry outright , but will...

    Vegetable Glycerin

Glycerine will act as a laxative. My guess would be you're ingesting a small amount you are unaware of over the course of the day which is causing this effect. By the way Blue, Carol still has not returned my call, I placed another message in her voicemail earlier today.

    Vegetable Glycerin

Thank you Frostmonkey, this is exactly what I meant when I said previously: Anyone can feel free to purchase VG from a health food store, and it probably will be perfectly safe( and possibly a bit less expensive), but just remember, health food products(vitamins/herbs/other health food items...

    What is the GGS????

Thank you for the info Womble. I thought that was what it was, just wasn't sure. Is it actually ALREADY available? The availablity thread infers that it is.(i.e there's no future target date listed) or was that just an oversight by Imeo. I can't imagine how he could have made 100 of them...

    What is the GGS????

I just checked Imeo's updated availabilty thread and saw this listed as available: 100 GGS (price is 125 euros), with new option for cartomizers, 4 in one connector, passthrough and wall plug. The passthrough and the wall plug are sold separately and they cost 30 euros each What exactly is...

    From Greece to Florida ...

Correct. I've seen them both ways now and I don't know which I like more(the GGT I'm talking about). Although, the Silver Bullet, no hands down, spit polished is perfection.

    From Greece to Florida ...

I think that may have something to do with the polishing that was done to this one(although it does look very sharp polished). I own a GGT(unpolished) myself and the sections mate perfectly with a demarcation line which is very difficult to see.

    Vegetable Glycerin

Although SLDS181 is absolutely right, Glycerine , USP is Glycerine, USP(1,2,3 propanetriol) and made to USP compendial standards. The Humco brand has been verified to be vegetable sourced Glycerine(by the QA person at Humco). Humco contract packages(meaning, places their manufactured product...

    Vegetable Glycerin vs HUMCO glycerin-warning!

You're confusing 3 different entities, OTC drugs(which are regulated by the FDA and who's labeling requirements are also regulated by the FDA-that contain pharmacopeial ingrecdients), single ingredient OTC products that are labeled USP(also regulated by the FDA to USP standards), OTC products...

    Vegetable Glycerin vs HUMCO glycerin-warning!

I'm looking at a bottle of it right now, It's certainly NOT labeled as Glycerine, USP. It's labeled as all health food store Veg Glycerine's are, simply Vegetable Glycerine. Here's what it says on the website: NOW® Vegetable Glycerine is a natural by-product of the cosmetic industry. It is...

    Vegetable Glycerin vs HUMCO glycerin-warning!

Correct, anything labeled USP HAS TO be made to pharmacopeial standards(otherwise it cannot bear the USP labeling). Anything not labeled USP, who know what standard, if any, it is adhering to.

    Propylene Glycol by perscription only?!?!?!?

It's primarily used for skin care in the liquid form that you are buying it in. It can also be used orally as a laxative, however, usually glycerin,USP is used in suppository form as a laxative(go to the Antacid/laxative aisle to see this form.)

    AFS feedbacks

Crash, It's so weird that you mention this. My co-workers have recently started to say the same thing to me(although none of them really care). I don't think it's the AFS or the Juice or any mod in particular, but it IS the MODS. My one co-worker(who was paying particularly close attention) said...

    VG vs. USP glycerin HELP!

No problem; I'm glad I could help. If anyone ever has any vaping questions that may be pharmacy/healthcare related, feel free to PM with it. I may not get back to you right away(as I don't check my PM's every single day) but I certainly will respond when I get a chance. If I don't know the...

I'm reposting this from a previousl place in this post to answer this person's question, so I don't have to re-type the whole thing over again: I'm a pharmacist in PA. I'm going to copy and paste a post I wrote in another subforum: Go to the skin care aisle of most any pharmacy and you'll...
