iTaste MVP v2 Owners Group
Someone mentioned in one of these threads awhile back that manufacturers should install spring loaded contact pins on batteries. I think that is a brilliant idea. Seems like it would solve most, if not all of these contact issues. -
Question about charging MVP 2.0
Yes. I have not taken mine down to 3.3 volts yet but that is what the user manual states. I've only charged mine once and I did so at around 3.72 volts. (I'm estimating but it was about 30 puffs after the yellow light came on) And my puff counter was at 540 puffs at that point. This thread...- SnowDog

Question about charging MVP 2.0
Yeah, this threw me off too. Still does to be honest. My user manual says the same thing. The capacity of the MVP is 4.2 volts. 10% of 4.2 = .42. The MVP shuts itself off at 3.3 volts to avoid over discharge. There must be a different way to calculate voltage. I'm confused.- SnowDog

I've only tried an Evod, original Protank, iClear 16, SmokTech Aro Pyrex, and some Mini Clearomizers. I have one liquid that tastes better in the Evod but aside from that I have gotten the most pleasure from the Aro. For me this holds true with both the MVP and my Spinners. -

OK, thanks for the heads up. I didn't know they only went to 12mg. It's probably for the best anyway. I really do want to try it but I really don't want to get attached to a liquid that is hard to get when I want more. Thanks again for the info. -

MVP 2.0 charging questions
My MVP user manual recommends charging the battery when it is "below 10% power". It also recommends using a wall charger rated at 5v 500ma. How can I determine when the battery is below 10% power? Is it best to wait until the red light comes on? I have a 5v 500ma wall charger that I use for... -

Smokeless Image is the first vendor to offer an 808 threaded version of the MVP 2.0. They showed up on their website 3 or 4 weeks ago if I remember correctly. I have one too but I knew it was 808 before I bought it. I'm sure Smokeless Image would refund your money if you feel you were mislead. -

JmanEspresso, As you can see we all have different tastes. :) Personally, I think the anise is in the background. The dominant flavor for me is the cinnamon, then the Irish Cream, then the anise. I struggle to find the caramel but I think I can taste it if I try real hard. -

Thanks! No, not really. The other devices that I charge are all done at home with their own supplied chargers. I won't be taking the MVP charging cord with me when I go out so for me, it's a feature I don't see myself using. I might give it a try on my cell phone just to see how it works but...- SnowDog

Got my Volt MVP 2.0 today.
My Volt MVP 2.0 arrived today and I've been happily vaping away since mid afternoon. The iclear 16's that came with it are terrific but I'm inclined to agree with comments I've read about them being juice hogs. Flavor and vapor production are great though. The MVP is such a great little box...- SnowDog
