Nope - trust me, with the flavour, vapour and throat hit the 1.5ohm 510 throws out, there is absolutely no need to go carto. More to the point, the control you have over both juice flow and airflow renders the buffering effect of a carto entirely redundant. -

Indeed... I'm a big 901 in an AVS fan, but the 510 in the new style AVS is a damned good substitute for the moment. I am surprised and pleased by the intensity of the flavour. Gawd help me, the 901 version will be positively orgasmic if this is anything to go by... -

The new AVS is a very neat solution - I know this is subjective, but the sight glass looks, to me, better than a completely clear tank, and has all the advantages. I'm a big fan of the new design - the pre-production prototype I have is doing exactly what it says on the tin, and hasn't let me... -
