    @ Turbto ,try cutting the mesh 16-18mm wide instead of 20mm,it goes in a lot easier and it is still wicking well after 2days and 2 tanks of juice.

    I like asdaqs idea,I have my kanthal wrapped, and a slight bend in the silver wire doesn't hold it very securely.     No, they are about even.I had to make them so they fit under the cap without touching.It's better to start a little long,they're easy to snip off w/ wire cutters.

    Yeah I'm thrilled with the hybrid,but to be fair,of the few posts I've seen on the A2,everyone seems to like them very much. The only reason I didn't get one yet is due to having to refill it often.Anyway,I'm glad your happy with your A2 and I'm sure you'll love your hybrid.:)

    Thanks Asdaq,I'm very relieved and happy. the thread thing seems very unusual but it's the only thing I can come up with,unless when I was screwing it together I wasn't getting the brass batt connector to seat properly thus creating a poor connection. Now I'm afraid to unscrew it.:)

    Thanks a lot you guys, here a pic of success at last. the only thing I think thats different is I may have been cross threading it when I screwed it together.
