    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

I had problems with mine too... inconsistent firing. I took the head apart on my #20 ...strange design. I tried to figure out what could be done to make it fire more positively, but didn't come up with anything earth-shaking. One thing that I did though was put a very thin coating of Noalox on...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

I got my #19e today as well. It has a few minor issues (sharper machining edges than on my stainless 19a and a slight galling problem on the top-cap threads, but a little Noalox helped a lot). I was going to take the button assy apart, but so far, I may just leave it alone. All I did was put a...

Yepper, mine just arrived in the mail about 45 minutes ago. Body and all the other pieces are Brass. The top positive pin in mine was brass as well, and my early attempts at getting the button apart have been fruitless so far, but all I've tried at this point is just using one of those rubber...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

Vap; The Odysseus is similar in some respects to a Kayfun...but it's more similar to a Penelope...kind of a larger version of it, and yes, you need to do the R/NR wire crap in order to run them. I have a couple of Ody clones, and while they are a decent RBA, setting them up can sometimes be a...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

Yes, I made the slings & the grip for the vertical...I make all kinds of paracord stuff. I have far-too many hobbies...can't stop from modding everything I get into; cars, motorcycles, guns, Vaping gear, etc, etc.... It's a disease :) (BTW...I liked you AR-themed work surface in the pictures...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

From a conversation I read from a Co-op Q&A with a Sigelei Rep last week, the #19e is solid brass with COPPER pins, and a gold-plated spring (up top)...not positive about the lower spring, but the bottom magnet cup was brass in the regular #19s, so it should be the same...possibly copper also. I...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

Great idea using the 9mm case!...I never thought of that....and I've go BAGS of 9mm empty brass. I reload - & own an Uzi...believe me, I have a TON of spent brass in the garage :)

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

Vap; Here's Todd's review of "The Russian", which is a top quality Kayfun clone...good shots of how it's set up. He also has a review of the Kayfun Lite right below it.. The Russian RBA from ezig-online.de - YouTube I'm looking forward to getting my hands on one of these when they become...

    My Boba's clone

Go for it. I substitute different vendors/quantities/flavorings all the time. Nobody has come up with an EXACT copy yet anyway, and some of my results are actually quite tasty.....I like my variant of the AV Gorilla Juice better that the real thing when tasting side-by-side (I was surprised)...

They look pretty good polished up (Ody Clone - I still need more work on the drip-tip/juice adjuster & tank):

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

The only way to run a #19 with an 18650 & a Kick is with a longer tube...from what I've read on a Facebook Co-op where they were talking directly to a Sigelei Rep, they will be available from Sigelei relativity soon to go with their Kick clone. No time-frame stated, but it sounded like they were...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Yep, I thought of that, however, with the Ody design, you have a small ceramic cup that limits the diameter of the wick you can use - just a tiny little piece. I've opened up the ceramic cup to about maximum, but even then, you have to taper the ends of a 1/8 inch wick to get it to lay in there...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

I wish I HAD a Kayfun! I read somewhere that someone was cloning the 3.1 (I think it's called "The Russian"), so there may be hope yet... I thought I saw where someone put a ceramic in a Kayfun. I know I saw pictures of it - I believe it had cotton/silica wool surrounding the wick in order to...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

I'm jealous! I'd love to get my hands on some Great White Wicks, but I guess I'll just have to wait until they go live.... I love those RSSTs.... knock the bushing out & you can run a monster wick with no worries... Are you running into an vape-lag with that setup, or does the .8mm Ribbon heat...

I'll post something as soon as I get it and have a chance to take it apart. Last word is that it should get to VT in about a week (it was a pre-order), then on to me :D

Got my Polished #13a from Vaportek today.... Geeze, this little sucker is hitting hard and 100% right out of the box... At this point, it doesn't look like I will have to mod it at all... If the #19e & the #8W Caravela Clone in my Vapemail are anywhere near this good, I'll have to take up a...

New Tobacco Surcharge on my health insurance

And neither do our Elected "Representatives" .... remember...none of them read the bill before they voted on it... I think a LOT of people will be shocked when this pig is totally implemented, but, like all Government Programs, it will be impossible to reverse....

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

That will work fine, but you will have to remove the coating off the parts that will come into contact with the spring & the housing in order to make good contact. Since it's enamel coated, just scrape it off with a knife until you get it down to bare wire (or an emery board would work too :) )...
